St Pauls Walden Conservation group volunteers
St Pauls Walden Conservation Group Volunteers meets weekly to enjoy a range of different conservation activities that vary through the year. These take place across Easthall Farm and around St Pauls Walden.
The projects cover a range of habitats with recent work including hedge planting, woodland creation, protecting bluebells from footpath encroachment, and a wide range of wildlife monitoring. In the last year, there have been surveys of hedgerow habitats, birds, and butterflies. The group is lucky to have some expert ecologists who are keen to share their knowledge with others wanting to attend the gatherings.
Work on letting the light into the river Mimram has been particularly valuable and there is now an ongoing survey of water quality and habitats there.
If you are interested in joining activities on Saturday mornings (and other times when needed), then please send a message using the link below. We are a friendly group always open to new members wanting to know more about conservation, share their knowledge and look after wildlife.
